Charges Withdrawn
R. v. K.T.
Client was charged with theft under $5,000 for stealing groceries from his workplace. The client turned himself in and was released on an undertaking. The charge involved serious allegations of breach of trust and dishonesty against an employer. We negotiated a resolution where all charges were withdrawn after the client completed counselling and community service.

R. v. J.H.
Client was charged with obtaining transportation by fraud after a fare dispute with a taxi driver. Police alleged the client had no ability to pay the fare. We negotiated with the Crown and secured a withdrawal of the charge before trial.
Acquittal
R. v. T.
Client, an entrepreneur, deposited a $50,000 cheque from an investor that turned out to be a forgery. Client was charged with fraud. At trial, we proved the client had no criminal intent and genuinely believed the funds were legitimate.

R. v. P.W.
Client was charged with cruelty to animals and killing an animal other than cattle. The Crown alleged the client repeatedly kicked his neighbour’s cat with such force that the cat’s eyeball became dislodged, and continued kicking until the cat died. We represented the client and on the morning of trial, secured the withdrawal of all charges.

Client was charged with assault with intent to resist arrest following a traffic stop in Mississauga. The Crown alleged the client failed to identify himself, pushed the arresting officer in the chest, and attempted to flee. Police arrested the client after a brief struggle. We successfully negotiated the withdrawal of the charge.

Client was charged with two counts of threatening death and one count of assault. The Crown alleged the client threatened and assaulted the woman with whom her husband was romantically involved. We successfully negotiated the withdrawal of all charges.
